Hold Fulmer accountable VolNation. Don't rest........

Don't rest on your laurels VolNation. Many of us "fans" are donors too and have been for years. We may not be one of the top factions but some of us know them. Stay very active through the site and social media. YOUR VOICE IS BEING HEARD and some of the top dogs are echoing or sharing in our sentiments.

Don't let a fool like Clay Travis down play the power of the fans as a collective donor group. As a whole (the fan base, the consumer) we are the largest donor block there is. The top individual donors or family donors are the biggest by far individual donors. But, the collective consumer base is by far the largest overall donor group there is.

I'm way above just a fan buying tickets and making contributions but I'm nickles compared to top donors.

But I'm one of you! One of the fans and a donor. I'm a consumer.

Not showing up to games is effective. Using your voice through social media and your network of fans/donors is effective.

We are the ultimate determining factor at the end of the day when all the dust settles.

Don't ever let someone make you think otherwise. Don't ever let someone big time you into making you feel you don't count.

You do and you have!

Keep the struggle going on to Fulmer. Hold him to the same expectation level as will just did the others. He, too, isn't bigger than this university, it's alum and its massive fan base. He may think he is, but he's not.

That ass can get ran off too.

I love Fulmer (sometimes) and this is an oppurtunity he has to make things right.

But don't rest on your laurels VolNation! Keep pushing on!

This is YOUR school and beloved team!

Yep, VN is in total control of the University. You got it, all 15,000+ posters here can take a vote and let DiPietro know what he better be doing.

Go team! (French fry fryer is beeping)

Fulmer will never hire anyone with more star power than himself. Look for some one like Kurt Roper as Head coach.

OP, STFU. You and your like put us in this position but getting rid of Fulmer in the first place. Don't agree? Look at the program since he left. All the BS talk in the world from you Fulmer haters won't get around that. He took us to the SEC Championship the season before he was fired and we haven't had a sniff of an SEC Championship since then. Matter of fact we've been the laughing stock of the nation thanks to loudmouths like you.

Miles would be a good hire to stabilize the program. He'd be an even better hire with Tee as OC/Asst HC

Hi, I'm Joe Diffy and I approve of this message.

Seriously though, we can't just assume everything is going to be as it should now. We're in better hands and Phil has the best interest of UT, but we need to keep pounding

I seriously question that. My gut feeling is that he's going to try to get a retread in here or try to settle old scores... or a little of both.

Phil’s got his second chance. I’m with him watching and waiting for the ship to float out of hell.

OP, just shut up and let the man do his job. If after that there is a valid reason to cough, wheeze, sneeze or urinate on the far side of the moon, then we will. Right now it sounds like you want to create a situation that further embarrasses both the Ut and its fans.

I don't care who is running the show if they'll get the best they can. With that said, Leach would have been awesome but instead I should be happy we are hiring VFL's just because they are VFL's?

They gotta BLEED ORANGE!!!

I don't disagree with the sentiment.... But if you know anything about Phil, then you know he does what he thinks is right regardless of what might be "right" or "wrong".... If you know him stay on him about it but as a family friend it thoroughly pisses me off when people that don't understand what's going on makes posts suggesting they do.... Also, if you know him you know NO ONE loves this place more than him... So trust my friend and let's wait and see and then if he does something stupid be on him about it... And don't suggest people that don't have the best interest of his university or him no matter if they think they do or nt... That's all I am saying. #VFL

Just because he has love for the university, that doesn't mean he is a good decision maker.

The #1 richest football program in the SEC. The 2nd in the nation. There is no reason we cant have a decent winning coach. If you want to compete with Saban (bama's 11 million dollar man) Tennessee MUST stop low balling and get a coach on the same level and pay.

Yep. We shouldn't expect or accept anything less. Time to stop shopping at Kmart when the coach we need is available at Bergdorf Goodman.

Oh, and we definitely don't need a fired retread that no one else wants, a.k.a. Les Miles. I just hope to god Fulmer's not thinking he can again put his imprint on UT football by hiring a fishing buddy like Kevin Ramsey and Pat Washington were.

I hear ya . This junk is silly. Fulmer made some miscalculations that caused some grief, but he sure as hell didn't sink the program. If it weren't for him and the staff he had, we'd probably have been wrestling with Vandy and the Mississippi schools for scraps during those years. I'll always believe that he would have straightened it up if given acouple more years.

After South Carolina 2008 loss, was the program going in the right direction?

Look at the program when he left. Was it trending up or down?

Stabilize doesn't sound aggressive. Stabilize means keep it afloat and keep it between the lines. Void of passion and excitement. Commonly called mediocre.

Or we can get someone that can shake things up and and pull out every trick in the bag to get us in contention.
