Don't rest on your laurels VolNation. Many of us "fans" are donors too and have been for years. We may not be one of the top factions but some of us know them. Stay very active through the site and social media. YOUR VOICE IS BEING HEARD and some of the top dogs are echoing or sharing in our sentiments.

Don't let a fool like Clay Travis down play the power of the fans as a collective donor group. As a whole (the fan base, the consumer) we are the largest donor block there is. The top individual donors or family donors are the biggest by far individual donors. But, the collective consumer base is by far the largest overall donor group there is.

I'm way above just a fan buying tickets and making contributions but I'm nickles compared to top donors.

But I'm one of you! One of the fans and a donor. I'm a consumer.

Not showing up to games is effective. Using your voice through social media and your network of fans/donors is effective.

We are the ultimate determining factor at the end of the day when all the dust settles.

Don't ever let someone make you think otherwise. Don't ever let someone big time you into making you feel you don't count.

You do and you have!

Keep the struggle going on to Fulmer. Hold him to the same expectation level as will just did the others. He, too, isn't bigger than this university, it's alum and its massive fan base. He may think he is, but he's not.

That ass can get ran off too.

I love Fulmer (sometimes) and this is an oppurtunity he has to make things right.

But don't rest on your laurels VolNation! Keep pushing on!

This is YOUR school and beloved team!

Hi, I'm Joe Diffy and I approve of this message.

Seriously though, we can't just assume everything is going to be as it should now. We're in better hands and Phil has the best interest of UT, but we need to keep pounding

Otherwise the pendulum swings the other way in terms of bad management.

You do realize that Clay Travis has been praising the Vol fans for what they have done right? I agree with a lot that you said. But in all honesty, we have to sit back and watch now. We cannot continue to revolt against every single decision in the AD department. We have to just trust that Fulmer truly has Tennessee's best intrest at heart.

I like Fulmer but I do have to admit, him being the AD is a little scary. Especially since he has no experience doing it.

Will be dicey for sure. Phil can jump start this thing and give it the energy it requires... as well, he can suck the life out of it if he micro-manages the next staff. This will be easy to monitor by the fan base.

Fulmer would never consider Leach. Reason alone he shouldn't be an AD even outside the lack of experience.

Guys shut your mouth and let him do his job.... Phil is our guy.... So shut up and let him do his job.... Obviously people have a right to their own opinion but I would bring down the ban hammer on people that are still trying to "put pressure on Phil"...

That being said I am a personal family friend of Phil and know without a shadow of a doubt he didn't trey to sabotage anything... He just made da@$ sure that currie or anyone else didn't..... Be calm guys he understands more than you do.

I don't care who is running the show if they'll get the best they can. With that said, Leach would have been awesome but instead I should be happy we are hiring VFL's just because they are VFL's?

I have known both he and Vicky for years too and their daughters. I grew up with this program during this era. Personally know many coaches their families and players from Fulmer's coaching era.

I love Phil but he's pissed me off for sure through the years with signs of hardheadedness and questionable decisions and things he's done. It is cause for concern.

That being said I think he will do a good to above average job. But people will need to stay on his ass...

Why? I say put on more steam until we get a decent coach. Bring me Petersen, and I'll sit back. Until they sign someone who can resurrect the program Fulmer helped destroy, keep the pedal to the medal.

This F'd up ideology is why we're in this mess. Hopefully Fulmer will ignore y'all and get right this ship.

Fulmer is definitely an improvement over the idiot that was in charge. We are not out of the woods yet because Phil's assistant hiring when a coach is reason for concern. I'll just wait before I do back flips.

I don't disagree with the sentiment.... But if you know anything about Phil, then you know he does what he thinks is right regardless of what might be "right" or "wrong".... If you know him stay on him about it but as a family friend it thoroughly pisses me off when people that don't understand what's going on makes posts suggesting they do.... Also, if you know him you know NO ONE loves this place more than him... So trust my friend and let's wait and see and then if he does something stupid be on him about it... And don't suggest people that don't have the best interest of his university or him no matter if they think they do or nt... That's all I am saying. #VFL

If Fulmer haters will just let him do his job we'll be alright.

I don't think that is what the OP meant.

Fulmer is just as likely to make a bad hire as the former AD was. What if he decides that promoting the interim or hiring GS is the right thing to do? You being quiet then?
