Hoke better not win out.

If Hoke wins out, TN will still be able to win a bowl game. They would've beaten a top 25 team as well.
Would Currie promote him to Head Coach? I really hope not, but if he wins out, I can see him in the mix.

So as terrible as it may seem, I guess I'm secretly wanting HOKE to loose,... not our team.

Yes, God forbid we avoid a losing season and actually make a bowl! Damn it takes a special kind of stupid to make this thread!

Maybe if he doesn't loose one of the last two, U.T. will still cut him lose.

No. But if Hoke wins out maybe someone else will give him a HC or DC job and reduce our buyout. We win both ways, ever think of that.

Hoke will not be the next head coach. All indications are that UTAD is serious about getting a splash hire this time around. I hope he does pull the miracle and win out. At this point a 7 win season would be delightful. Looking more like 5 wins IMO but either way Hoke is not the guy

The truth is that the only one that needs to win out if hired is the Grud. Everyone else gets a pass. The Grud. would be expected to win out. No excuses.

Nah. Guy on here yesterday was bragging about using his phone while driving to look up things on the web and text for at least 35,000 miles in a year. That one took the prize for dumbest of the year.

No way in hell Currie makes Hoke the permanent HC...he values his own job too much to do that, and it would definitely mean losing his job if did it.

The equivalent of signing his own termination paperwork.

Hoke was asked in today's press conference if he had discussed his candidacy for the job with AD Currie. He didn't answer, so I am guessing Currie told him he wouldn't be considered.

Hoke may even know who the next coach is. Currie should be pretty far down the track by now.
