Shula, 1-5 against Top 10.

Weiss, 0-2 against Top 10, no bowl wins.

Richt, 3-4 against Top 10, his wins declined from 13 to 11 to 10-2 to 10-3 over the past 4 years.

If these men were coaching for UT, then Vols fans would be calling for severe changes...think about it.

If Weiss had Tennessee's personnel, he wouldn't have that record. Put all the lipstick you want on the pig, it doesn't make it a prom queen(except in Alabama).

Are you saying that Weiss had a more or less talented team than UT this past year?

Talentwise, the only position Notre Dame had an advantage over UT at would be QB. Compare the defensive personnel on the two teams, not close. Offensively, ND has no speed at WR, yet they were able to be one of the more productive offenses in the country.

You have some flawed logic, sonofajohn? Why the name change? Were you banned for trolling the boards?

You can make numbers look anyway you want to...

However, Weiss' 0-2 against top 10 teams was against USC and Ohio State. USC was in the NC game and Ohio State played the NC team Texas pretty darn tough. Weiss also took a program that was in bad shape and went to a BCS bowl with it. When is the last time Fulmer has been to a BCS bowl? Weiss also beat Fulmer on the field. So your argument sucks there.

Richt has two SEC championships, the exact same amount that Fulmer has in about 3 times the amount of time. Since you are so good at stats, what is Richt's record against Fulmer?

I think most Vol fans would be happy with 2 SEC championships in 4 years, 2002 and 2005 for UGA versus the 2 SEC championships in 14 years with Fulmer. I also think UT fans would have been happy to go to a BCS bowl like Notre Dame did.

Shula, well, the jury is still out on him, but he took a program that was in shambles and went to a bowl game this year and beat Texas Tech. Plus he beat Fulmer with less talent.

Let's look at Fulmer's credentials since 99. NO SEC CHAMPIONSHIPS. NO BCS BOWLS. Lost to Richt, Weiss and Shula all in one year. Good job Fulmer! :clapping:
