History will be made tonight.
Lady Vols ready to win.
And deserve to win. You can do it.
Not thinking X&O but how about a dozen or more threes ?
Yes, UConn.

More history making ? First time in 30 years I will be cheering for you. Not on February 6 of course, but totally tonight. And let’s hope we play more than once this season 🙂 . The Vols are back. UConn hasn’t gone away. Let’s play. Like a great coach said 30 years ago: for the good of the game.

and it’s time somebody slowed Dawn down. Anybody, please 🥵

Well, it would kinda help y'all in Tourney seeding for SC to lose. We see you! lol

But just in case you're not being completely selfish -- thanks. 🤗 It's gonna take a lot of luck and an unusually bad game by SC and a super game by Tennessee, but nothing is impossible.

Honestly I wasn’t even thinking of that when I posted, lol. I just enjoy being a hater. ;)😂

As I've said here many times before, I'm a fan of Dawn Staley and what she has achieved at South Carolina, for sure. The championships after bringing the program up from near the bottom of the SEC has been nothing short of amazing to me. But as someone who attends games regularly, it may be the loyal fanship and the regular sellout games that is most amazing. Yes, winning brings butts to seats, but it was insane how quickly that happened there. Used to be a few hundred faithfuls rattling around in there and now it's packed with rabid supporters. Gotta love that for their program.

Tennessee fans remember what that's like, and we are sooooo hoping we can get back to that someday. Coach Caldwell has the guts, and certainly the charisma, to be special. We just gotta hope she'll be stubborn at the perfect times and flexible/willing to adapt when she needs to be as well. It's going to be fun for us to see how things shake out once she and her staff have at least a year or two together to iron out the wrinkles we're seeing now.

I hope tonight's game is an Instant Classic. I'll be there. Look for me on TV -- I'll be wearing orange.😅🧡

Geno retires? A win by a struggling Huskie replacement coach improves the Lady Vols’ position in the tournament?

I’d allow it. Never is a long time… 😉

Getting in a hurry leads to missed shots. We really hurried a lot in shots in the last 3 minutes of the first quarter.

Uconn isn't getting a 1 seed no matter how many times you root for "other" teams to knock off a team above them. Uconn is a 2 seed, period. You can thank the BE.
