He was doing radio in Nashville a few years ago. Awesome football player and knows the fundamentals. I saw him in section V Fulmer's last year or so and he was HEATED about the lines poor production. Said it was simply poor coaching. Not that he was saying it was Fulmer, but he knows what the hell he's talking about. He was saying the kids didn't even know what foot to get off on or their assignments. Sounds like this year. Played pro ball too. Miller would be an excellent oline coach.

Why would he be better than what we have? Just asking.

you or I would be better than what we have, but seriously I know Bubba would have our oline top production. You can't measure the toughness and heart that dude had. If they won't be coached he would sit their ass on the bench.

Bubba always had a great passion for the game. And he was a smart guy. Yes, I heard him on the radio 4-5 years ago and that's the last I hear of him.

Mickey Marvin...gee, there is another blast from the past.

Wheres ole Mickey Marvin when you need him?

was a senior, I believe. One night, after a bout of drinking, I and another player got into a heated argument at Gibbs Hall in the early morning hours. We decided to take our dispute outside and fight, which I wasn't really eager to do since the other guy was bigger. We go outside the dorm, and it's raining and we continue yelling at each other before the start of fist-a-cuffs. Suddenly, the side door is flung open and out comes Martin, a mountain man, and he is not in a good mood. "What in the hell are you two guys doing?" he said. "You woke me up." He clamps one big hand on the shoulder of each of us and throws us back in the building, ending the fight before it began. "Thank you, Mickey!" And of course he went on to have a stellar career with Oakland.
