“I don’t know why they didn’t have one with (Josh) Dobbs,” one SEC coach said. “Someone told me that (the Vols did not have a QBs coach), and I couldn’t believe it.”

Jones has said that adding a QBs coach becomes even more of a priority with young quarterbacks Jarrett Guarantano and Quinten Dormady vying for the job."

What coaches are saying about Alabama's transition to Steve Sarkisian

I thought DeBord wad the qb coach

It seems mostly in title only. Sheridan, according to some at practice sessions, was working with the QBs, while Debord was helping Mahoney with the OL.

And though I feel Debord ran a good offense (statistically), having two coaches on OL and not to get quite a bit more out of them was a worry. Was it a S&C issue, or contradiction? (Like too many chefs spoiling the soup)

I would think the QB coach could be the Splash hire. think about this, CBJ has 2 years left, Dormady, JG, and Sherion Jones on the roster, at least a better than average Oline and some really good receivers. Could easily parlay 2 years at UT INTO a top 10 OC job!!!!!

Predictable offense was a problem with our Oline along with injury(blame that on the S&C) impacting the unit as a whole. Seems we had 7 different starting lineups.
