Hillary Might Issue Executive Order on Guns

#2 is silly. My incentive to not have my stuff stolen is that I get to keep my stuff. Locks keep honest people out. Obtaining my property by breaking and entering and theft is not my fault. And if I took you car from your garage and ran over a bunch of kids with it no one would look to you as the cause of the incident.

This idiotic point yet again? Sheesz.

A car is not intended to be used as a weapon. A firearm is. In fact, THE purpose of a handgun is to shoot other people.

Actually, the purpose of a handgun is to expel a projectile by means of a controled detonation.

Good, we need stricter gun laws in this country.

Yeah, because that stops criminals from getting guns. Just look how much crime has dropped and mass shootings in gun free zones, oh wait..............

Then I guess all mine are broken as they have never shot anything but paper.

If I broke into your home and took your butcher knife and killed people with it would that be different? As a lawyer do you often find the victim of a crime is also liable for the actions of the person who victimized them?

It's a myth that mass shooters specifically seek out gun free zones. Stop buying into the NRA talking points.

Speaking of the NRA, I read they spent $21 M on ads for Trump which is twice what they spent on Romney. Suckers!

Um, Eddie?

Why aren't there more mass shootings at gun shows or police stations? What do you think schools, offices, malls, movie theaters have in common?

Care to explain yourself?

Just mere coincidence the majority of the attacks happened in gun free zones.

Nothing to see here, please move on...

I was unaware that schools and shopping malls were typical places for people to carry guns prior to "gun free zones". Seems like the correlation here is that they're all places with a lot of vulnerable targets in a small area.

Causation can be tricky (literally a case by case basis) but there's a hell of a lot of correlation.

You have, what, 5 years of data to work with for "gun free zones?*" How many mass shootings in that time? What constitutes a mass shooting, is it 3+ targeted?

Man, stats is really fun.

*I can't remember when I first saw a "gun free zone" sign, so maybe we can say 10 years.

Which zones are you talk about? Schools? Private businesses?

Both? I know schools have been "Zero Tolerance" for as long as I can remember, but only receny have state colleges and universities become expressed gun free zones. Same for private businesses.

It is. Would a sign on the wall keep you from protecting you and your family?

People who CC see those signs like I see stop signs. Mere recommendations.
