Coffee County Central High lost our coach, he went to a new high school in Chatt. Great coach and work ethic but questionable play calling

There are rumblings that we might have one on staff next year, but not as a coordinator. Not saying I welcome it, but if it's something we we benefit from then let's do it.

Maybe we should just hire basketball coaches, that way they wouldn't know enough about football for us to feel bad when the offense sucked. Maybe we can lure Tony away from the team.

We've already had a coach that came from high school to become a staff member at UT.

I don't know if he still counts as he is now the head coach at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, but I think Bobby Bently would and may make a great major college coach one day. His teams at Byrnes High in Duncan, SC were offensive juggernauts. Sure, they had shut down defenses to help but his teams consistently averaged 40-50 or more points per game against some pretty tough, out-of-state competition. I want to say he took the 2005 team to Nashville to play Montgomery Bell and threw up over 60 points against them. I also think he turned down some sort of offense position at Clemson a couple of years back.

I think Quarles could be a nice WR coach. I don't know if he would take the job though. He really loves Maryville.
