If we could manage to line up correctly vs the chinese fire drill look and be sound fundamentally in blocking and tackling, I'd be happy.

As for offense, I hope Chaney didn't cost us Maurer for the rest of the season. The game was lost. Why the hell did he not back off on the deep stuff and just run the regular offense to get some work in? He knows our OL can't hang with UGA. He knows we don't have depth and are gassed by the 4th quarter. Run the damned ball. Use quick hitting throws. Don't give UGA a chance to tee off on Maurer and nuke the rest of our season along with beating us like a rented mule. Sorry, but Chaney shouldn't have put Maurer in that spot.

I think Ansley sucks but other than that they're dealing with a young roster
I disagree. The dbs held up rather well for such a little pass rush. And against a good question in Fromm. Some breakdowns for sure, but didn't look that bad

That was a true freshman mistake there. One he can learn from. And those hits are gonna happen in the sec

You guys busting on Ansley are overboard. Dbs got their heads turned around and made more plays than I thought with our lack of pass rush

They need 14 more recruiting classes to get “their” players. I have a feeling “their” players are hiding with the second gunmen on the grassy knoll
considering their current class is ranked worse than most of the SEC, 14 might not be enough.

You're right, he should definitely have all his players in year two. 🙄

“His” players are also starting and aren’t exactly lighting it up on the field; Taylor and Thompson haven’t looked great by any standard. He hasn’t developed a remotely competent dlineman and Peterson can’t get on the field.

Since they're slinging millions around on the hill, I wish they would hire a clock manager to help them out in that area. At the end of the first half with 1:59 remaining, Tennessee was moving the ball and the clock was running but they were hiking the ball with almost 30 seconds left on the play clock why? I would think they would want to run some time off there and let UGA use their TO's or if not just run time off the clock. That mistake was IMO a 9 point swing.

Buddr- Great Point. Common Sense isn't so common with this staff. I really wonder who in the heck is leading this team

Highest paid staff in what? The state of Tennessee? They’re not close to being the highest paid in the conference let alone the country. Yes they’re filled with some guys who have overinflated reputations, but still nowhere close to be the highest paid.

I’m guessing you’re joking but GO Vols 247 reported that Tennessee has the 2nd highest paid coaching staff in the Nation to Ohio State.
