My sister used to have a car and the seats would lay down in the back. So I used to put both seats down so I could stretch out and sleep essentially in the trunk. It was roomy.

I think the bigger issues why are her students spending the night with her?

When I was a teen my buddy would get in the trunk when we were driving through town. If the car behind me got too close I'd hit the trunk release and he'd pop out like a jack in the box and startle them.
