Got fired from an NFL team for not being able to get those guys to block air. His line regressed this year, after most of those guys had a full season under their belts.
Just a thought, but could the reason Chaney's play calling has been well, not so good lately, be because we can't run the football and he is having to go outside his comfort zone and call plays he normally wouldn't? If we get a new OL coach and our run game improves, maybe the play calling will too. Just a thought.
if he is gone maybe get this guy as oc and oline coach Jim Bollman from ohio state.

I don't recall seeing many power run plays this year. Our rushing attack consisted of: sprint draw, wildcat, and end around. With the exception of the wildcat, the base blocking scheme is going to be similar to pass protection. At least, that's how it was this year.
