Definitely one of the things that needed to happen. The performance of this offensive line was simply atrocious. There's just no other way to put it.

I have no idea if the poster is credible or not, but this is the first step in the right direction. Poster also said Chaney was safe. I don't like that.

Since when did not doing your job entitle you to scapegoat status? have you SEEN the OL the last two seasons? If you're implying that he's a scapegoat for Derek Dooley's performance, then there's a fair argument to be made that Dooley hired him, but we all know DD isn't being fired this year, so change has to occur somewhere.

If Heistand is gone, this means Dooley is safe which we already knew. We need a RB coach however. Hopefully something is addressed with that.

I think that is how it is going to come down. I am not sure I like it but if Dooley has to put up next year installing a new offense is really not so reasonable.

The sprint draw BS is the problem. Unless Chaney changes his offensive philosophy, I don't see any reason why anyone thinks eliminating Hiestand will lead to a more successful run game.

I think DJ is insinuating that if Heistand is the only casulty, he has effectively taken all the blame that should be shared by others as well.

He was fired because of their pass blocking. If you remember Cutler got sacked 450,000 times that year.

Hardly the problem here. The problem here is Chaney's dumbass scheme.
