I used to subscribe to this belief until one day, I walked into an office and, sitting there going through a mound of paperwork, was one of my E6s.
She was talking to herself and there wasn't another soul in the office.

I stood there for a few seconds and then asked her why she was talking to herself. She looked up at me and said, "Because I'm the only one that knows the answers." I said carry on and went back to my office.

I was doing that the other day in tge bedroom. My wife walked in and asked if I was talking to myself, then answering. I said yes, and she just shook her head and walked out
