Spurrier did the exact same thing to Lane...no Bammers were on the board complaining about that.

A man gets a few recruits and people start to take notice. It is all coach speak. I hope he keeps it up.

This is quite possibley the most fun I have had in an offseason before. Even if Lane doesn't work out, this could be fun for the next couple of years.

I agree completely. I expect that in 7 years UT will have another coach (1 way or the other) and this will all be forgotten. But it'll be fun to remember the times when CLK called everybody out, just before being bitch-slapped.

It cracks me up that an Alabama team that was undefeated going into the SEC title game lost the last two games of the season and they were the most important ones....So in other words that season was no better than the 6-6 season they had before this one...They accomplished NOTHING

Because the Vols had completely lost their swagger.

Fulmer was afraid of UF and Saban. He made the team so tight they couldn't play. CLK is telling the world that he has no intentions of being a easy rape victim.

Look. I've been attacked for a couple of days here for not thinking CLK walked on water and spoke football into existence on the 8th day.

But the guy full well knows that attitude precedes action. UT needs a change of attitude FIRST. That's what Meyer and Saban did as well... though a bit more subtle.
