They don't usually close anything here for snow. Rain doesn't happen too often either. I remember when I moved to Connecticut, it was snowing the day I was supposed to take my driver's test. I drove down, and yup, they were open. I took my driver's test during a hard snow with about 6-" already on the ground.
It is shameful that they close for rain here. Glad to see you have not been buried yet.
Not yet. We're having maybe one of the coldest winters yet. Time will tell. We've been single digit most of the days the past 3-4 weeks. It'll get up to the high teens and quickly drop when the sun goes away. Temps in the 30's right now would be considered a heat wave.
