I like the Chief, but we need new blood all the way around. Looks like Kiffin is going to have better options anyway.

Chief has even admitted he doesn't want to come back. He just wants to pack all his stuff and go home after tomorrow's game. Sounds a little whiny, but he's not been making a fool of himself (or at least letting his wife do that for him) so I give him kudos for that. He was a better DC than I think a lot of us here realize. It was just hard for his defense to make stand after stand with offenses that haven't been real effective and dangerous in a long long time.

What about the stuff with Ken Norton Jr.? Just a pipe dream?

If all this is true, all we need now is a solid OC. I just hope the staff knows enough about the SEC.

If we get all of them, David Reaves will be easy to obtain (not that he already isn't)

Does anyone know if Stan Drayton or Latrell Scott are staying? I know alot of our top recruits were from those guys.

I don't know much about David Reaves, is he a solid OC, I know he's at South Carolina and I'm just assuming that anyone doing offense for Spurrier would have to be competent.

We really don't need much of an OC, Kiffin will probably be calling all the plays anyway. Reaves is a good recruiter though. (and happens to be Kiffin's brother-in-law:))
