Joseph "Joker" Phillips, Jr. (born April 12, 1963 in Franklin, Kentucky) is the offensive coordinator for the University of Kentucky Wildcats football team. He is widely considered as one of the top assistant coaches in all college football and has been announced as being the next head coach at Kentucky when current head coach Rich Brooks retires - much to the dismay of Wildcat fans because this will destroy the football program.[1]
The Kentucky Wildcats are a college football program owned by Tennessee that competes in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision and the East Division of the Southeastern Conference.
Heisman winners Hahaha! Oh wait, you're serious?
You missed this gemBefore it gets changed
In the 2009 Kentucky vs. Tennessee game Joker decided to take the ball out of his best players hands, Randall Cobb. This in turn cost Kentucky dearly when they failed to score a touchdown, and had to kick the field goal to send it to overtime. Kentucky ended up losing the game 30-24 in overtime. Joker will forever be remembered for this amazing play call.
You just lost to a Tennessee team with an offensive line with two walkons, a kicker who came in off the street a couple of weeks ago, a punter with a lame wheel, and a defense with a hospital wing full of injuries. Face it. You're losers. Great job by your Knoxville kicker and your Alcoa fumbler. All is right with the world. See you in Knoxville next year for your annual loss. Have a nice night.
