Jimmy Hyams looks and acts like Kiffin just stole his girlfriend, at least the other hosts are somewhat happy to see a little more life than we've seen in a long time. To bad someone isnt makeing another sequel to grumpy old men.:)

Hyams is a tool. Has yet to say one positive thing about the guy since he's been on the job. If Hyams left town, I don't think anyone would be terribly upset.

I like the guy sitting beside him (can't remember his name). He gave CLK two thumbs up. :good!:

Hyams always looks like an old grouch to me.

:p I like Bob. He is an optimist that always has to sit beside the grumpy ole' pessimist.

He's still mad because Marlon Brown made him and his so called source look like a fool last week. Ohio State:crazy:Right on the money there Jimbo.:birgits_giggle:

I listen to the radio every day on my way home from work. After reading everyone's opinions about Hyams I finally decided to really pick apart what he's saying that has everyone pissed off.

I concluded that he pisses off homers because he's not blindly loyal to CLK.

That being said, i'm no Hyams apologist at all. I just think he gets really unfair criticism. His main point of view has simply been, "he might be good, he might be terrible -- we don't know."

If I said the things he said on the radio I would expect criticism.

He has on numerous occasions spoke inaccurate quotes about this staff because of his disdain for the MH's firing of PF.

Hyams worshipped at the feet of Fulmer...

He's more than 'not blindly loyal.' All he does is bash Kiffin. This is after he was blindly loyal to Fulmer as he failed.

Funny how he has so much criticism for Kiffin, yet when the heat was on Fulmer, he refused to comment. Embarrassing that a man can be so far up another man's rear.

Hyams is not happy with the renegade image that Kiffin is portraying for UT. He also is not a big Orgeron fan and doesn't think that a program like the Vols should be associating with a sketchy character like Big O. I think he is disappointed in the fact that the classy UT Family image is being blown apart by coaches who he considers "hired gun" outsiders who have no respect for the Vols or their tradition.

one of UT's best traditions is winning. He should have been so negative against the last regime as well but wasn't
