I want to be fair to you and make sure you see the questions I asked so that way if you don't answer I know you chose to ignore them. I surely don't want to wrongly accuse someone of something they are not guilty of. So here are my questions for you.

1. Would UT's defense have taken a step back this year compared to last years no matter who was DC?

2. Does Chavis have more talent, less talent or equal talent at LSU than Monte has at UT?

3. What's your take on Monte's success against the option and in general while DC at Arkansas?

Thank you in advace for you opinions and I will try and keep this bumped to the top so you can have a fair shot at seeing and answering.

if i don't answer, will you start a new thread about it?

no bump needed. it was already at the top.

When you're a jounalist you will be treated accordingly. I asked a question stemming from his topic on his blog. Simple really.

Again, thanks for the bump.

How will you treat me if I've been naughty?

I don't care what most do on this site. Griff is a journalist and has made statements that lead to these questions that he has yet to answer. They are relevant questions and should not be hard for him to answer. Really simple.

Why so serious?

Subscribed.

Its a fair request and it was done in a reasonable manner. Griff is a member of this board like the rest of us, and given his job, should have something meaningful to contribute.

I'd much prefer to see this discussion than another rehash of Kiffin's 6 meaningless secondary violations.

I dont know if this is what Vol Beef's Beef is but I feel serious about it as well. When I lived in Charleston all the local papers had Koolaid editorials of the ACC, USC lite, and Clemson but in Knoxville it is the opposite at times. I am tired of fans of other teams writing in our papers. When I pick up the paper in Knoxville or read it online I want at a minimum a fair report on UT football and koolaid filled editorials are fine.

I do not want anymore articles that are based on bias or perhaps are trying get people upset just for readership. Griff has been writing articles not based on facts that are anti-Kiffin thus anti-UT at this junction. If had some reason like losed etc it would be different but at this point we have had nothing but positives.

The bottom line out of Knoxville is that when Monte speaks everybody...even the old timers shut up and listen.

At the risk of taking heat from others on the board, I think that Chavis carried water for Fulmer and Cutcliffe. He helped keep Fulmer employed for a long time, and Fulmer knew it. He was and is a good defensive coordinator, but for the love of God, he is no Monte Kiffin.

I changed my mind on that point earlier today.

Hard to argue with any of that. And too bad for Fulmer that Cutcliffe didn't have similar career aspirations as Chavis, he might still be employed.
