So, uh, you're saying UT hasn't been my favorite team since I started watching football because I don't have nearly enough money to drive 6 hours one way to watch them play? Plus the cost of tickets and lodging?? Come on chief, use a little sense. If you are implying something different let me know

I hope we go down there and play a competitive game and give Florida all they can handle....but the realist in me says it wont even be close...I mean they have us dominated in every facet of the game from coaching to depth and not to mention it's at "the Sewer" this year. Please God let us come out of there with a victory.

This thread is awesome. As a Gator fan, I'm glad to see our rivals pumped up about their teams. The season is no fun at all without a little smack talk during game week, complete with "gators, Gators, volunqueers, UToothless", etc. It's what makes college football awesome.

Other than the few posts in this thread specifically calling for injuries (and you classless dirtbags know who you are), this is a great smack talk thread.

Enjoy the rest of the week, and don't forget to pack Monte's depends and Junior's Ritalin.

GaSouthern implied I was a recent UF fan, and I responded....then for some reason you posted some sob story about why you can't go to games.

Wow buddy. not only do you not make sense, But you're a tool to boot! You made a statement that applies to anyone about going to every single game or they are not a fan or some b.s. like that. And no you didn't specifically talk to me, but i'm sure no one said anything to you at all on your first post either, troll...but that sure didn't stop you from throwing your snobby opinion in there!

GaSouthern questioned if I was a recent UF bandwagon fan.

Stay with me.

I replied to GaSouthern, saying I've been a season ticket holder for 23 years, and I've attended the last 8 UF-UT games in Knoxville.

Still there?

I then asked GaSouth if HE (not you) would be in attendance this weekend in Gainesville. When he said no, I gave him grief. Conversation basically over.

Not sure why you felt the need to chime in, but thanks for showing your a$$ in a conversation that had nothing to do with you. Sorry you can't afford gas to drive 6 hours to watch the Vols play....but it wasn't anyone's problem but your own until you brought it up. Again, thanks for sharing.

Lets get real, this year our team couldnt beat UF second team, get over it, our time will come when we eventually win 2 out of 3 i think in future but this sat at "the dump" its going to be a beat down, we just dont have the players at the positions needed to help out our idiot QB's. I have not seen a depth chart at the QB position for the vols so bad in all my time watching them, its up w/ i think year 2000 when we had aj scrubbs for a little bit.

You used the vague, indefinite pronoun "someone". Someone can be anyone. By your statement, you left it open to saying anyone who doesn't go to every game is a bandwagon fan.

You questioned his loyalty by saying he has to go to every game, implying that this is key to being a real fan. When you questioned his loyalty by using this as the basis for your argument, you left it open-ended to attack any fan's claim as a true fan.
