Hey bTNo...two things

Richardson, Hubbs, Moore, Thompson and Davis wouldn't be a terrible starting 5.

That would rank around 5-8 in the league IMO.

That doesn't factor in any of the freshman coming in and making impacts.
Believe I'd go with austin, Hubbs, Richardson, Rhett and Stokes for 3rd conference.

Who's playing post Davis? Unless he makes major strength improvements I think that wouldn't ever be a UT lineup. Can't really play with 5 wing players.

You're on VQ, mind Sharing what Lewis is saying?

Apologies. Just got back on.

I assume you already know most of what was said but Lewis and Hubbs said that Zo removed his name last night. I asked if he really withdrew or "withdrew"? They seem to think it was his job if he wanted it.

Yea, every media outlet I've seen has said it was his if he wanted it, and money guys at Marquette thought he was theirs.

With that lineup, well, maybe people would get their full court press wet dreams answered.

With our SEC Schedule next year, you should put 2 dimes on the line. No worse than 8th, I figure them to overachieve next year now that all the hoopla is out of the way.

1- Looks like our dime wager for next season is off. You should feel extremely lucky

2- told you Hart's diabolical plan all along was for Zo to win some games and make himself look marketable ;)

Stokes will leave. We'll be lucky to finish 10th.

where the hell is he going?
why do people not understand this......his current game just does not translate well to the NBA.....it doesnt matter if he averages 20/15.......the NBA knows that currently stokes is too short to play center ad not near quick enough to guard a stretch 4.........can he play there....sure he can but right now they view him as a 6 point 6 rebound a game man and there not going to waste a draft pick on that kind of production....those guys are available on the 10 day contracts.

Doubt I'll see a penny

If that's how you really think, let's not do this. Because I don't want to go through this season and possibly win the bet, only to have the excuse "I'm not paying because I never thought I'd see a penny in the first place."

One thing you don't have to worry with me is getting paid if I lose a wager.

Where does his game next year translate then? He's not growing any more. His limitations this year will remain the same next year. What's the one thing he can change? Adding a 15 foot jumper?

NBA drafts on potential and athleticism. Stokes is a known entity. He's not going to jump from a 2nd round guy to a lottery guy next year. And if he's not a lottery guy, it's still a crapshoot to be guaranteed for 1st round.

I'd love for Stokes to stay. But looking at it from a business perspective, it makes more sense for him to make some $ this year while he keeps working on his game. If he sits on an NBA bench doing so, great. If he makes $300k overseas, that's pretty good as well.

If Stokes will not be a first-round pick, he may decide to complete his degree before turning pro. There's also talk about him playing football here.

And in the biggest twist, he'll end up an All-Pro Tight End in the NFL.

This probably isn't true skillwise, but as far as size and measurables are concerned, Stokes would be a better fit as an NFL tight end than any position in the NBA.

I wouldn't put money on it happening, but it's not like it's unheard of.
