and the only people on VN who don't know that are just lying to themselves for their own insecure reasons.

Great fans' representation at the game...great player effort, ... and the coaching staff had a plan that totally dominated my Vols in almost every part of the game.

Life is not fair, but don't hang your heads, players. To watch some of you guys limp off the field and then come back in and bust your a$$es was what is so great about college football. I think your team has a great future...I hope my Vols have one, too.

I've only seen a few teams dominate the Vols in Neyland like you did today. I'm very happy we escaped with the win.

Hold your heads up!

I think you need a link to the UAB board or maybe a number to their radio show.

Congrats, Blazers.

You deserved the win. One of five kicks in regulation (although the 49 yarder should have been a punt and you should have gone for it instead of kicking the 54 yarder) and you win in regulation. Bad calls by the coach on those two.

Or maybe you should just open your eyes and realize how lucky we were today. We got out played, manned, their guys gave better effort. If it wasn't for their lack of a kicker, we lose this game. A win is a win however. GO VOLS

I have never been so embarrassed than when my UAB friend called me during the game saying "Oh my goodness, I can't believe we might beat UT!!!!!"

Thank God it didn't happen.

What does that have to do with a thread started that is addressing UAB as if he is personally talking to their team?

Like I said, I think he needs a link to their board or a number to their post-game radio show.

I wasn't there(had to work) but it sounded to me on the TV that the UAB fans were making more noise than the UT fans. So... yeah hats off to UAB they played a hell of a game.

While I agree they gave a great effort and wanted it, they also made mistakes. We should have beat bammer last year and knocked them out of the championship race but guess what? We didn't. Sometimes it takes a win like this to gain trust and come closer together.. go vols

Was Randy Sanders our OC today? Did Chavis give Wilcox his 3rd down sets? Did Fulmer just go on a massive diet? That was really a pathetic effort from both the players and the coaches and brought back SO MANY painful memories. We are horrible.

What UAB fans? I didn't see a single one.

I'm ticked off at people razzing OUR fans! My god, most people stayed through double OT and continued to cheer when we did bad play after bad play. The fact that Neyland didn't empty today amazes me!

I was watching their reactions on teevee. They didn't have many, but none acted like Gators. :)
