Yes I can!!! Milton had a good amount of history playing the way he did. This is NOT his first game ! Sometimes it is important to watch past film of a player!!Did you happen to follow tennessee football the last 3 years? From what I heard JG practiced the best but obviously couldn't put it together in games. So far I would guess that Milton practiced the best. Thats why he got the start. The difference is cornbread refused to give anyone else a shot and got fired for it. Heupel has coached 1 game so far at UT. Milton hasn't proved completely that he can't do it in a game the way JG did. All CJH has to go off at this point is practice. Sometimes players practice better than they play in games. If that's the case with Milton you can't fault CJH for playing the best practice player. If Milton doesn't do any better after a few games and he doesn't try another guy then we have a problem. Its been 1 game.
I think he will but only time will tell. I believe in Heupel but that doesn't mean he is beyond mistake. I love the tempo we play at. Everything looks better except QB1 and yes I know it is 1 game. But it was also the same mistakes JM has made previously against arguably 1 of the 2 worst teams we will play. So yes we have cause to be worried. I do wonder what exactly JM does in practice the others do not.I think a big part of the issue here is that we had an obvious problem here for the last bunch of years, We all watched the man responsible for solving the problem pretend like it didn’t exist.
I don’t think JH’s past performance leads me to believe he’ll do the same thing. If our QB position remains an issue, I believe he’ll take the necessary steps to fix it.
So many variables at Michigan our fans conveniently leave out like he had a broken finger at Michigan and their offense was trash, but you could be right all im saying is give him one more game before you throw him under the bus…I would agree with you if his problems weren’t the exact same problems he had at Michigan with more than 1 game to base that opinion

If it’s and buts we’re….If those 4 passes alone are completed it puts him near the top of the league in performances in week one
The problem is you are basing your opinions on fans rather than the people who matter like the coaching staff. It’s one game if he does it in game two then yeah pull him…If it’s and buts we’re….
I wouldn’t have near the problem with him if these were different problems than what he had as a starter before. The problem I have is that the issues with his game were almost like reading the message boards of Michigan’s fans problems with him. Let’s face it, he should have put up heisman numbers against that team, not compete to be in top 4 of league. And my biggest problem isn’t with him, I’m more afraid of the coaches. Our qb whisperer coach is a competitor and thinks he can polish a turd into a winner. I just hope that he can put that aside and say maybe one of these guys can do better. Seems to have worked for harbaugh yesterday.
No. I’m basing it off of his previous film and what fans have said. This was not his first game. He had plenty other games with the exact same issues. I know, first game new system, same could be said of many other qbs this weekend. Like I said, if it were different problems than he had before, then I would be less concerned and have a more wait and see approach, but these are the exact same issues he had previously. Do you think Byron young would have had those same stats against bg?The problem is you are basing your opinions on fans rather than the people who matter like the coaching staff. Plenty of other game film in the exact same offense we run without a broken finger? No. I’m basing it off of his previous film and what fans have said. This was not his first game. I keep hearing about the broken finger. The broken finger has nothing to do with his major issues. He didn’t have a broken finger in the game against bg and still overthrew, no touch, not reading the field, etc. what the hell does a broken finger have to do with him repeating the same things without a broken finger.Plenty of other game film in the exact same offense we run without a broken finger?
