Love the interview. Coach seems focused and relaxed -but that damn cough. Been 4 years Coach
Get that checked out!
My guess is he is on bp medication. There is one brand/type known to have a dry cough as a side effect.

And his job would definitely increase the blood pressure of most folks.

I have wondered about him being a heavy smoker. Does anyone know about him smoking? Yes, there is some reason for the cough.

Like other, think it is the BP medication. A relative is on it and always has a nagging cough.
It doesn't have to be related to blood pressure or BP meds.

For instance, another common source of a chronic cough is acid reflux. It can be managed with meds, but often the result is a reduction in cough frequency, not eliminating it entirely.

My doc once told me: a cough is initiated from one of three directions: the stomach, the lungs, or the mouth/nose. Figuring out what direction the irritant is coming from is the first part of the puzzle.

*shrug* chronic cough is a thing for folks getting up in years. I've had it, and friends and family around me have as well. Some still do. Doesn't mean they have unmanaged health trouble.

For those who keep bringing it up every time they see Josh coughing, my recommendation would be to stop worrying about the man's health, unless you're his doc. And if you're his doc, what the hell are you doing on the interwebz, get back to work! Heh.

It could be the nose. Sinusitis, post nasal drip or the like irritating the throat. It is the fall, maybe allergies. Let‘s hope it’s nothing serious.

Came in here for a video but got a bunch of armchair MDs instead.
You don't gotta have an MD to know these things.

You just gotta be old and have lived through them. Or watched a parent, spouse or other loved one experience them. Then you know.

And wykyk.

It was just a joke. Don’t take yourself so seriously.

Lisinopril. I had to switch meds cause my cough wouldn't go away. Once I changed it was gone
