Plus didn't want to wear out the defense blitzing until really needed.I think Heupel knows exactly what he is doing on both offense and defense. He doesn't have the players to slog it out for 4 quarters, so he scores as many points as fast as possible knowing that if the defense gets a stop here and there they will or can win. If the defense doesn't get the stop, he knows they can drive down and either score or get in field goal range with less than a minute to play in the game. I was wondering why we waited to blitz on defense until it was needed on that last Kentucky drive, I don't think he wanted to show that hand earlier in the game so they couldn't adjust and know how to handle it.
