Heup to LSU noise and where does TN job rank?

If someone wants to give Heupel more than we currently are, then maybe we can give Golesh more than USF can. I’m tired of this extravagant spending on coaches who have never put together a championship team.
Amen to that. These guys are glorified gym coaches making millions. Nothing special about Heupel and his gimmick that teams have already figured out.

here's what I know for a fact. Danny White needs to grow a pair and figure out right now what he wants to do. either back the dump truck up at Heupel's door and decide that we ride or die with Heupel or cut him loose BEFORE he runs the program into the ground like we let happen with the last 3 coaches.

if there's going to be a coaching change it needs to be while Tennessee's program isn't decimated. we need something for th next coach to continue building on. no more of the rebuilding crap I get so damn tired of hearing people on this board excuse.
None of of that first paragraphi fact, but I digress. There's absolutely nothing to suggest Heupel is running this program into the ground.

Don’t believe this for one second, it is nothing but pure speculation. Coach Heupel has already announced to take his name out of the hat for other job openings.

nobody said that he is. I said he needs to be let go BEFORE he does.

Tennessee needs to get out of this mindset of rebuilding the entire program AFTER it's been destroyed (like by our last 3 coaches)

we need to be like LSU and get rid of them BEFORE they hurt the program. and upgrade to a better version of the current coach.

LSU is gonna do this thing the right way. just like TAMU did.

Heupel has been better than Kelly or Fisher.

Therapy might help

who's the "better version of the current coach" you want to get?

yes let's get a midmajor coach who's barely over .500 and is about to finish 5th in the AAC

If Heupel leaves it's because of the talent and ease of recruiting at LSU. He probably does think to himself "Man what would my offense have put up with that 2019 LSU team". Our program is in a much better spot if he were to leave compared to past coaching searches. It is what it is.
Wonder what his 2025 offense could do with a competent o line and defense

I honestly don’t see how LSU is better job. I don’t think they have UTs budget.

What’s better about it?
Talent is the big thing. Its not as hard to recruit there. All the talent from Louisiana goes to LSU if they want them. Weather is better if you don't like cold/winter. They've won championships this century

I don't know who dishes out the most NIL. But, the jobs that have always been the best jobs are still the best jobs.

Then, some things depend on the wife and family. The knock on jobs in the south are where schools are located. Alabama is a fantastic job, but who the hell wants to live in Tuscaloosa.

It is in this respect that the USC job and Texas job are different. But, every job has a negative of some sort.

Tennessee is a place where a coach has everything they need to win.
