I’m glad to see him evolve where there is opportunity or areas for improvement. I hope he reflects on his decisions at the end of the half and end of games in regards to timeouts and clock management. It has been consistently bad all year.
For him not to use that timeout with 25 seconds left before halftime on Saturday and take 3 shots into the endzone is indefensible.
That was definitely a head scratcher. Not taking 1 shot into the end zone before halftime was a bit odd. Only thing I can think is he didn't trust Aguilar to not turn it over and was taking the guaranteed 3 pts. Maybe he didn't want an Alabubba type momentum change? Still, you've gotta trust your QB. He was definitely trying to shorten the game in the 2nd half. After the game, he did mention not liking not scoring in the 2nd half, but that was more on him than his team.
