I’m glad to see him evolve where there is opportunity or areas for improvement. I hope he reflects on his decisions at the end of the half and end of games in regards to timeouts and clock management. It has been consistently bad all year.

For him not to use that timeout with 25 seconds left before halftime on Saturday and take 3 shots into the endzone is indefensible.

That was definitely a head scratcher. Not taking 1 shot into the end zone before halftime was a bit odd. Only thing I can think is he didn't trust Aguilar to not turn it over and was taking the guaranteed 3 pts. Maybe he didn't want an Alabubba type momentum change? Still, you've gotta trust your QB. He was definitely trying to shorten the game in the 2nd half. After the game, he did mention not liking not scoring in the 2nd half, but that was more on him than his team.

Agreed - but Gainesville was much quieter than at any time during the past 22 years…

Wasn’t quiet until they got punched in the mouth. By the second half you could hear a mouse fart, even when we had the ball on third down.

One thing that I think he did versus some things I heard him say before. I was glad to hear he had the team enlightened on the struggles in the swamp and the task at hand. Some were not born when it started .I think that is a good change in the philosophy he had stated when he was first hired. I may be wrong but I took him as no nonsense and nothing that happened before had anything to do with the present game kind of mantra. He may be evolving more towards some of the mojo Kirby has used. These are still young men that can work with the right positive emotion.

Yeah you absolutely have to trust your QB there. I doubt that's the reason, he just seems to freeze up the last 30 seconds of each half.
