Herschel Walker vs Bo Jackson

He's referring to the Raiders/Seahawks game.

Oh I know what he's referring to.

Finebaum was asking for opinions who the better college RB was, so that Raiders-Seahawks game doesn't exactly factor into this discussion.

There's no debating who was the better pro. Bo wins that hands down.

College? Herschel, and it's not even close.

Bo was arguably the superior athlete based on his accomplishments in two sports, and Bo had more success professionally in two sports.

But in my opinion, Herschel Walker is the best college football player I've ever seen.

I agree 100%...I was lucky enough to see them both play and Herschel was the best college RB I have ever seen to this day....Also remember they played in two different offenses...For the better part of Bo's college career he played out of the wishbone while Walker played out of a pro style offense...I personally always thought Bo was a better baseball player than football player...He was a natural at both but he really stood out in my mind in baseball.

If I had the number one pick in the NFL, MLB,NBA, or NHL draft I choose Vincent Bo Jackson.

Dude was the greatest athlete to grace this earth. I really feel bad for younger fans that didnt have the pleasure of seeing him do what he did. AMAZING!

I'll take Babe Ruth, but yeah, Bo was awesome.

This is a very tough call, as we're discussing 2 of the greatest RBs to ever play.

1988 Barry Sanders.

Was just about to post this. 2628 yards, 7.6 ypc and 37 tds...in one season. Throw in a KR and PR for a TD as well. If he hadn't sat behind Thurman Thomas for 2 years, his numbers would have been insane.

The words "babe ruth" and "Athlete" don't really mix together well.

He was a great baseball player, but would've died in any other sport.

I totally forgot he played behind Thomas.

He probably would have been a good bowler. Lol

I would have payed good money to watch Ruth play point guard.

I remember when GA was playing UT and they put in their Freshman RB...WE introduced Walker to the rest of the nation.

I didn't realize the significance at Tom Black Track when I got to see Willie Gault, H. Walker and Bo Jackson running together in the 100 yard dash!!!!
I have very little recollection of the details.
