I wish everyone would quit turning their nose up to every coach that gets mentioned who is not named Davis, Gruden, Leach, etc., as if every other coach in America sucks.

Herm Edwards would probably make a good college head coach in the right situation, although probably not at UT. I'll go out on a limb and say half of the current head coaches in the NFL could succeed at UT. College football is child's play compared to the meatgrinder called the NFL.

I agree, I think Herman Edwards would be a helluva college coach. I think his style is better suited to the college athlete,but I think he may not be the best choice for the Tennessee job.
