Kiffin signs 11 3* players in his first class and everyone on here calls them diamonds in the rough. Dooley has 4 for this class that are bound to be bumped in ratings according to recruiting service contributors, but they are all "WAC players". Think about it.

Oh and we initially took commits from Fat Jose and Broussard. They turned out to be world beaters also.

I'm thinking about it---Dooley's players have some common themes about them---I'm already impressed with the job he's doing...I'm ready for the season to start!

There are too many idiots on here to bother...People whine about lack of recruits..we get recruits...they say they aren't good enough...blah blah blah

Too much generalization IMO. While 3 arguably 4 of our 5 commits are acceptable, no one could argue that Andrew Power is a player CLK would take.

I'm not sure what to think on the Power commit honestly. Surprised me.

On the other hand; Tom Smith, Alan Posey, Brian Randolph are NOT slouches...or "WAC players"

So far he's recruited guys with mid to high 3* talent but above avg character and grades. It may work. It may flop... but you are definitely right. There's a pattern.

Do you get a text or tweet everytime someone types in the word Kiffin?

I agree. I’m on the fence with Harris, and laugh at taking a commit from Power in June.

He took Lamaison and the TE from SC who is already gone... so yeah, he probably would have taken a kid who had previously walked on at So Car, made the two deep as a Fr, and reportedly outperformed the starter.

I'm not sure on Harris either. Might be the next Nick Reveiz type player...which I will definitely take. Or he might be a scout teamer. He's got the size but doesn't look too fluid in what I saw. He's playing good competition so we will find out what he can really do this season

Obviously I misspelled are. It’s pretty embarrassing to misspell a word, so make fun of me all you want, because it doesn’t happen often.

What did I say that was incorrect in regards to Kiffin?

Yeah, he took both of those players 8 months before signing day. Right. I would have no problem if this kid was a 2010 kid, but if we’re taking a commitment from him this early on in an “important recruiting year” that’s not good.

We don't get the pick of the litter this year because of the train wreck caused from the last 2 years. I think a lot of recruits are taking the wait and see approach that a lot of us are taking. Dooley is getting in early with a TON of '12 recruits.
