Does anyone know his injury status? It's not out of the question for us to need him before the season is over if he's available.

Nothing but good wishes for Mr. Worley. He has taken a beating this year and kept giving it his all. He has a big heart and that is for sure.

Not sure of his status, but outside of an injury to Dobbs why else would we need him?

We all knew Nov. would decide a bowl game.
Worleys toughness carried us through the hardest games.
Just wondering, whenever people play the "what if" game,
Do you also question what if Dobbs had started the year and was the one injured at this point?
He would have been sacked less but would have been sacked.
I haven't seen many qbs take the hits Worley has and keep getting up.
Here's to Worley and to the future (Dobbs)!

I thought our chance for a bowl died last year with his season ending injury. Now it seems Dobbs will be the guy to take us bowling if we are to go. I wouldn't discount Justin's chances at playing in the NFL. No doubt pro scouts liked the way he handled himself behind our patch work OL. They have respect for that. I remember after the OU game Coach Stoops came across the field looking for him to shake his hand. I have a feeling he will get his chance at the next level.

Because he is a senior film junkie who is still pouring his heart into this program and supporting his teammates every weekend

Sure we need him to continue to support the team and we need to continue to support Worley as a person. But there is no need for him to see the starting line up again as long as dobbs is healthy. He's been tough and has given his at all but at the end of the day it would not have gotten this team to a bowl, South Carolina may have been ugly. But I do appreciate everything he's done.

Dobbs is a running QB who takes a good amount of hits. I would personally feel much more comfortable if Worley had to go in to the game with a Dobbs injury than Peterman.

Hopefully we never have to put Worley or Peterman in a game again unless it's mop-up duty, but there is always that chance, and that chance is magnified a good deal when your QB is a runner.

It seems I remember hearing he had a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder. I cannot imagine him playing with that but I guess there are varying degrees of tears. I had the injury and it hurt to even raise my arm much less do something as violent as sling a pass 20-30 times a game.

Ok so outside of an injury to Dobbs why would he be needed at this point? Im not arguing just curious where your coming from?

It's all good. My main reason is injury. We're one snap away from Peterman being our quarterback if Dobbs goes down and that makes me nervous. Apart from a Dobbs injury, what impact would an injury to Hurd, Pig, or North(already banged up) have on our new found offensive production. Could it make Dobbs less effective and change the dynamic of our offense? If other key injuries occur, would Worley be able to more effectively mangage that? I don't know. I do agree that Dobbs gives us the best chance to win as it stands right now.

I've watched the game four times and haven't seen all these hits...if they even touch him they don't light him up ...he's not Tim Tebow mobile...more Vince Young.
