I know many of you have expressed your dislike towards Dooley in the recent months, but you have to admit he did something this offseason that not many can do. He held together a superb recruiting class while losing six coaches and still having one vacancy to date. I think we can put our dislike a side a give the man credit where credit is due!

I'll give him credit after our bowl win on January 1, 2013

Signing day is Feb 1 but yes to this point he has done very well. I am always nervous until the signatures are in.

DD has done a good job given all the negativity surrounding this past season keeping us in the hunt with recruits. I find it funny how some fans think the only acceptable outcome for next year is a new years day bowl. When Majors took over for Battle he had just won a NC at Pitt, was a former Vol, recruiting was not watched like it is today and he went 4-7, 5-5-1, 7-5 and 5-6 his first 4 years at UT.

Before I get too far into this thread, let me start by saying I like Dooley and think he's doing good things at UT. As far as giving him credit where credit is due, the mans a good recruiter and proving it with this class. However, until he starts winning games he gets no credit from me as a HC.

Save your praises until after NSD. I don't want to jinx it. He has done a good job but Santos is waivering, Borque is unstable, and who knows about guys like Kirven or Patterson. It is impressive that he has done this well after losing 6 coaches. I just hope he can put together a great season on the field so we can see what a full staff can do when they're not coming off a losing season or replacing the entire staff.

I am sure he is devastated

Just like all Dooley jock sniffer's let's applaude him before the play is over. Hell let's give him a standing ovation for all the great things he has done this recruiting season before one LOI is signed, sealed and delivered.
