Definition of bandwagon. You can just go hop on bama's. Will always support my Vols. Gotta stick with em through the bad times too but I admit it's very frustrating seeing us look unprepared week after week. Last week against miss st especially coming off a bye week we just looked lost

I don't want to support another team. I don't want to stop cheering for the Vols. It's just that right now, this season, it's stopped being fun. It's like work to sit there and watch this team. Remember the days when UT actually had a chance against the Alabamas and Floridas? I'm still a Vol fan. I just don't enjoy being one today, if that makes any sense.

1,225 people have looked at this thread so far but, sadly, only 53 have even cared enough to post in this thread.

Those sad numbers would lead me to believe that there's really NOT very many real, true Tennessee Vols fans that post here on VN.

Seems to me we have LOTS of Posers and Trolls that are only here to stir up crap and disharmony nonstop and to try and do everything they can to make our recruits and their parents feel like Tennessee is the last place they should consider coming to and THAT unfortunately DOES work against our rebuilding efforts.

I'll NEVER stop loving Tennessee and my Vols even if we lose every game and I'll still wear my Tennessee Orange most everyday and be proud of it no matter what any moron may say to me.

Loving my Tennessee Vols is a part of my life and when I die I'll be buried wearing my Tennessee Orange.

If the powers that be decide that CDD will still be here for 4 more years then nothing will change for me and I'll still cheer them on and hope they win every game.

Most that posted on here seem to really love Tennessee or that's what they say but some I have to wonder about and I'll quote them in other posts and reply to what they've said.

I look forward to seeing how many other people post in this thread and what their comments are and I hope many will check back and read EVERY post made and THINK about what everyone has said and reply again but NOT when it's all based on emotion rather than facts, reality and solid business factors like AD Hart will have to do.

As much as i get pissed, scream, yell, hate the coaching decisions.. i'll still watch, still wear my orange, hell im wearing it now..i love my vols for life..

This is really sad and pathetic and is NOT a true Tennessee fan at all.

A real Tennessee fan WILL always stick by their team and whoever the coaches are no matter what just as many here stood by and kept on cheering even when our team wasn't very good.

You're done with my Vols so my reply to you is simple...

Bye, we won't miss you for a single second so go to some other site, support their team and stay away from here because, honestly, I'd really rather talk football and Tennessee sports with real fans that will be here year after year no matter what.

I'd also like to see more people THINK before posting, consider things from every aspect and not just post based only on raw emotions.

There's a huge difference between sitting home cheering the Vols on the bigscreen and donating or paying the freight for season tix. Few will stop cheering and buying orange t-shirts and UT caps... but donations are already down and next year could get ugly. If it's the only way for their voices to be heard, donors will speak with their wallets.

I watch them, but I don't let it get me down. I hope we will win a game like yesterday, but unlike some I you I don't think I can "believe" it into happening. The Vols are what they are, a bad team, without much talent, and bad coaching.

Until something happens to change this - new coach, new talent - whatever - Ill continue to DVR the game and spend my precious weekend playing with my 3 yo son!! I watched yesterday's game basically on Fast Forward after family was asleep.

VFL, but I have Family Man an Father for Life first and foremost!

You want CDD and his coaching staff replaced as do others.

You will NOT buy tickets or make any financial donations until CDD is gone.

Go find the 2 part interview on this site from AS Hart and LEARN some things my friend IF you really do love our Vols.

Among other things AD Hart says we're basically BROKE and exactly NOBODY knows if our big boosters will supply many millions of $$$ or not but since our economy has been horrid for the last 4 years and the last 3 years it's gotten consistently worse there should be some serious doubts if the boosters will toss in many millions of $$$ or not since NONE of them are making as much $$$ as they were 4 years ago.

You'll also read where AD Hart says 1 of the other things we URGENTLY need is a new dorm building for our players since the last one was built over 40 years ago so where's all those extra millions of $$$ going to come from?

You want CDD gone but if he stays you'll STOP any of your $$$ from going to UT and THAT my friend will only make it even harder to get rid of CDD unless he stays until his contract is over and you'll NOT help getting other things done either that will help recruiting and getting better players in here.

Help UT or don't because the choice and $$$ is yours my friend but cutting off money when we're BROKE will only guarantee that it takes longer to get this ship back on the right track.

Real UT fans stick by UT through thick and thin no matter what so maybe you need to rethink your position my friend.

I'm one of "those guys" they really can't afford to lose. They made great money off of me, and I will still watch and support the team, but not anywhere near the levels I was ... and I probably won't go back to those levels once I leave.

This year I left the Terrace and downgraded my contribution .... was just hard to spend the dollars and the time, I'm not a super rich guy and have to work for my money. I used to justify it by saying it was something I really enjoyed doing and was willing to sacrifice for ... I still have season tickets, and I have a lot more money invested in the VASF program than I have in my six years of college, I still love my VOLS ...

... but I am starting to enjoy doing other things with my weekends ...

I used to come in on Friday night and stay all weekend, but have noticed I would just as soon do other things all day on Saturday and then catch the game on TV .. So instead of dedicating all weekend in Knoxville, now I just watch the game and cuss at the screen ...:)

Have to finally admit, I like DD , think the program is improving somewhat ...but not enough .. I do not see him bringing this school to the top of the SEC even if given four or five more years..

I will always support my Vols. However, the cost of travel, hotel, food, parking, and tickets is something I will not fork over to go and see the product we are consistently putting out. I would much rather watch at home and turn it off when it gets out of hand.

My mother in law, bless her heart, just got me tickets to the Vandy game. Is it unethical to sell tickets that were given to you freely as a gift?

This actually IS a very smart person and i'll explain to you why...

CDD simply does NOT have 3 of his recruiting classes on the team..He only has 2 of HIS recruiting classes on the team and they're all Freshmen and Sophs except for some very good players that he recruited from the JUCO ranks.

The 1st recruiting class was what laMe kiffScum had recruited and when CDD was hired he ONLY had roughly 2 WEEKS to try and save as many of those recruits as he could AND to try and add some good players to do his best to fill the team NEEDS so he could put as good a team on the field his 1st season as was possible.

2 WEEKS and NOT even having a coaching staff either so he could NOT tell any of those kids who their position coach would be or what their qualifications were so it was AMAZING that CDD got as good a class as he did and he DID add some really good players all on his own including James Stone, our Center, who was a commit to alaBubba but CDD talked him into forgetting nick saTan and coming to Tennessee and considering we had hardly any O linemen that was an important signing too as was Da'rick Rogers and Hunter and several others...sad that Da'rick refused to grow up and we had to get rid of the troublemaker.

FACT is that it's VERY doubtful that any top named, successful coach would come to UT and finish the 5 year rebuilding process after CDD was only given 2 recruiting classes to turn things around AND that our new prospective coach will see hate and ignorance posted here and even on the rock for the whole world to see.

WHY would any good coach want to come to UT and have to play in the SEC for a fanbase that wants coach after coach fired before they're even allowed to get 4 of their recruiting classes on campus?

If I were a top coach I would NOT come to UT even if you offered me $10 Million per year because I don't need my name and coaching reputation dragged through the mud and constant hate and belittling from a over expecting fanbase that's clueless on what it takes and how long it takes to totally rebuild an entire football program.

After all, I'm already a big named coach and better opportunities will come along soon without all the crap from fans and I won't have to fight like h3ll in the SEC to have a good record every year since i'm also a great recruiter.

THINK folks and without emotions but being realistic for a change....exactly NOBODY wanted the UT job when CDD took it and that's probably the same type of coach we'll get if CDD is fired too soon after he started rebuilding our entire program.

We also happen to be BROKE but I think we've already covered that aspect of this situation.

I notice that anyone calling for change is a person you talk down to, insult, and call names. Everyone who is not on the Dooley train to loserville with you is a troll. I have come to the conclussion that YOU may very well be the troll. Anyone who can sit back and try to justify keeping Dooley can not be thinking in the best interest of Tennessee and it's football programs future. You can "VFL" and "GBO" all you like. Supporting possibly the worst head coach in Tennessee football history(The numbers prove it) going into 2013, shows your not near the Vol you claim to be.

I'm convinced this guy is the worst Bama troll on the site. Only people giving Dooley their mark of approval at this point are Bama fans, Gator fans, Georgia fans, etc.
