Who gives a ****.No. Retracted before Fulmer was announced as AD. Fulmer did not make the decision, the Chancellor and Admin/Board did.
Your are the one arguing about it so I guess you care. I was just pointing out different facts then what you originally stated.Who gives a ****.
My university Fed this hire up. Just like the one before that. The one before that and the one before that. Given our history CJP isn’t going to suddenly start winning games and UT isn’t going to suddenly start hiring winning coaches.
We needed someone that would stay to build the program. Kiffin had already proved he wasn’t the guy to do it. Anyway Kiffin is overrated as a HC.Fulmer should've called Kiffin when he had the chance honestly. Tennessee is no longer a team that is coming for a powerful position, we need someone with an edge like Kiffin or James Franklin that is ready to punch up. I think Kiffin given a second chance here would have worked.
Sunset was possibly the worst d coordinator we've ever hired, and that is saying alot!I still say Clemson letting WVU hang 70 on them (Kevin Steele was the #1 choice to replace Wilcox) was a huge moment for UT football. No way was UT going to hire Steele after that game and they hire Sunseri. UT's O wasn't the issue, for the most part. Yes, Dooley was an ass but Wilcox leaving and hiring Sunseri was huge.
If they fired him for anything other than cause they owe him the buyout. He is just trying to get his buyout. He was fired for supposedly mistreating players was proven false so TTU should owe him his buyout. I don't think there is much more than that.I believe there was more to it. It was unlawful termination if I remember correctly. He was claiming he should not have been fired for cause.
Plumlee was good last year, they gave LSU one of their better games. They've got some good players they just are still lacking experienced depth due to sanctions. Not a coincidence they check the play at the line at least once every snap and run tons of pre snap motion. Lane puts them in a position to succeed.
