VS OHIO-Expect another Western Kentucky Kind Of Style Win

VS Auburn-Most likely, Auburn comes in undefeated, but they will leave Knoxville with a loss, Auburn hasn't really proved themselves yet, and don't talk to me about WVU because WVU is sort of on the terrible side this year and Auburn struggled.

VS UGA- South Carolina and Arkansas laid down after they went up, UGA is lucky to have 2 wins and they will not advance anymore than where they are at, Vols win here for 3rd win a row.

@ Bama- I think Bama gets us this year, they are looking pretty sharp, and this will just have to be a win we will have to wait til next year to get, we will get our third loss here, but it will not be a blowout.

VS USC JR- Spurrier will get punk'd by CLK, Vols bounce back to keep the country talking.

VS Memphis- Another blowout win, against another cupcake team.

@ Ole Miss- Snead will be tough, I think this is going to be one of those ball games that is a pure dog fight, and the team with less mistakes is going to win, I'm going to go ahead and say that Ole Miss might take this win on a late fg or td, and we will drop to 4 losses this year.

VS Vandy- WIN, WIN, WIN, we have come to expect nothing less.

@ Kentucky- It's going to be closer than the experts think, Kentucky looks sharp, although we will find out how sharp they are when they start playing their SEC Schedule, it could be a close game or it could be the same ol Kentucky, and Vols Roll to cap off the season with only 4 losses and a bowl birth.

Yeah, Kentucky looked really sharp having to score in the final minutes to beat a team that's about to get its coach fired.

That's best case scenario. I'm not quite sold on giving that win to Ole Miss yet though. They're overrated at this point.

Exactly, Louisville is terrrible. Kentucky's defense is awful and their rushing is weak. Hartline to Cobb is the only real weapon and they can hook up. Look for MK to school them.

I hope you are right with your predictions...I never enjoy losing to Bama but they will have their turn to get smacked by the Vols....

This seems somewhat realistic but ALL the SEC games will be tough. Our Coaching staff and our Defense will put us in the position to WIN these games, but whether we do or not will lie within the offense and how well they play. With a strong running game and a reciever or two that will step up and make some big plays to help out our less than talented QB I think this is quite possible.

Good luck, Raise Hell, and GO BIG ORANGE!!!!

so you predict an 8-4 finish?

That's still pretty bold imo, despite being impressed with them thus far.

8-4 is where some experts saw us finishing this year, and I agree with those guys, 8-4 is my expectation for this year.

I like the prediction and it matches with where I was to start the season. My only problem with it is that to start the season I said Crompton would be much improved and would not be terrible. He has truly been so awful it makes me want to cry.

Jonathan Crompton will lose to UGA, Alabama, Ole Miss maybe even Auburn and USC and UK if he plays like he played against UCLA. He is truly at this point the worst starting QB in the history of our program. I would rather watch us in the Wing T than watch Crompton throw the ball so far away from our WR that the defense does not even have a chance to make a pick, or right into their hands.

I for one would just like to be 2-2 after this weekend. I don't think we can take for granted any game.

I sure hope you are correct, but I think it will be tough until we figure out a way to get something out of our QB play. Our defense will keep us in most every game this year, but you still need an offense that can make a few plays to win the tight games. The run game has looked good, but Saturday was a prime example of how the run game can't win it alone. The passing game has to help out every once in a while.

Wins: Ohio, Memphis, USClite, Vandy, Kentucky

Losses: Bama, Ole Miss

Toss ups: Auburn, UGA

My prediction: 7-5..we beat Auburn, lose a squeker to UGA (but...in a move that is extremely satisfying to UT fans...Eric Berry nearly decapitates Marlon Brown)

Sounds good if Marlon Brown even makes it onto the field. :)

It seems there is a lot of toss up games there. I say you may pull an upset against Ole Miss probably not Bama but who knows but may lose to one of Auburn, UGA, or USCe.

at the beginning of the season i would have said 8-4. now it's looking more like 6-6 or 7-5 at best

I think 7-5 with a bowl win is most likely. I just don't see a team with a deficiency at the most important position finishing the season 7-2.

its too hard to predict. we look absolutley horrible against UCLA but do very well for a losing team the next week.

99.9% a win--Ohio, Memphis, Vandy, and Kentucky (doesnt look bad though)

75% a win--South Carolina

50% a win--Auburn and Ole Miss

40% a win--Georgia, i know, youre probably thinking that they arent doing well and also wth's the difference between 40 and 50%? georgia can move the ball better than us and we are one dimensional. i may change my opinion AFTER the auburn game. UGA is more dangerous than theyve shown.

25% a win--Alabama. nothings impossible, but i think Bama is a serious NC contender. they can beat Florida IMO.

6-6 worst. 7-5 most likely. 8-4 wow. i think we make a bowl regardless.

Marlon Brown would have to play in order for Berry to decapitate him. sorry grandma.

I believe CLK will find an Offense by the Georgia game, then no one will stand in our way. We have the best coaching staff in the nation and they really think we should 3-0 right now and so do I.

Ohio W
Auburn W
Georgia W
Alabama W
South Carolina W
Memphis W
Ole Miss W
Vandy W
Kentucky W

UT finishes 10-2

GO VOLS
