Now that I've looked at your post.

Dude you give Fl too much credit. Like most. I remember that Florida was no good. Spurrier put them one the map.
We have always been on the map.

The only reason that game matters is that it impacts the SECe. Florida is not a natural rival, they are an after thought.

Spurrier made this game bigger than it should be, but thru his play and his coaching, he established that even Florida can appear to be a good program, he almost did it for SC, but they are too far gone. But let them gater talk him up, that's not for me.

But sure it's a big game, my eye is on Bama, Bear put them on the map, and every coach ever since is riding his coat tails. I was talking to a bammer today. I told him we were gonna get them this year. He said "maybe", they are already defeated.

Doubt is your enemy. There is no doubt in my mind, that we will beat both Florida and Bama this year and maybe both twice.

I hope Shoop goes after the qb on 4th and 13.

I hope debord and jones stay aggressive on offense and not let up on the steam. General Neyland would be rolling in his grave if he knew this staff let up on the steam

A loss will mean TN still dont know how to win between the ears against the gatas. All between the ears. Talent IS NOT the issue

We have been playing football on the hill for over a hundred years, they ARE an after thought. You know team #120. This streak is a fluke and Butch is about to set things right.

While you're correct that Florida doesn't have UT's history, the Gators enjoy a seven game lead in the series, and they are 24-6 against UT since the early 70s. If Florida is an afterthought, then perhaps they shouldn't be.

The streak is not a fluke. They've won 80% of our head to head matchups since 1976, which only buttresses the current 11 game losing streak. They've quite simply dominated Tennessee since Majors was named coach after coming back home to his alma mater. Majors lost to Florida, as did Fulmer, Kiffin and Dooley. And now Jones is 0-3....how the hell is that a "fluke"?

We should've ended the streak in 2014....had a great chance to finally do it last year before completely choking late. If Jones loses his 4th straight game to Florida this year, he better damned well finally beat Bama.

Btw, *their. Also, what does "jump higher Vols" mean?

11 in a row is an anomaly vs the Vols, fluke may have been giving Florida too much credit.

You said yourself we should have ended it the last two years, even then 9 in a row is a statistical abnormality.
