All the way down to Knoxville all we talked about was the uniforms...blah,blah...

Volwalk..players coming through...black running suits..I was thinking.."Do they wear those every time?"I couldnt remember..Yeah,I finally convinced myself they do..

I wasnt a fan of it at all...Looking for any tip in the pregame.."Why are they wearing orange pants again?"I couldnt reason it out other than for the contrast with black...Damn:(

Band comes on...Im watching the clock..People with me convinced that I was obsessed with it..

Finally...I never see the captains come out..they werent on the field when they were supposed to be..That's when I knew..I was about to puke...

I watched Section J cause I knew theyd see them first..I turned my head for 2 seconds I swear..they looked at the clock again to assure myself of what was about to happen...then BOOM...I heard the entire South end start yelling ...and there Berry was standing there...

The point of this was this might have been the most exciting thing in that stadium(program) in 10 years..

I loved them..I was worried about nothing it turns out.You actually could feel the difference in the crowd when they came out..

If you want to drop your season tickets ,then do it because the are $600 a pair..not for some unbalanced dislike for the new regime..Kiffin gets it right ..AGAIN

I, for one, am still on the fence as far as the black unis but if it fires up the players, recruits, and fan base, why not? I'm not gonna be a Debbie Downer. GO VOLS!!!

I like the idea of black uniforms if recruits and the players like them, but the helmets clashed to much. I understand they ordered them on short notice, but should have had black or orange helmets. Either way we won and that's all that matters. GO VOLS!!

"Captains Eric Berry and Montario Hardesty approached athletic director Mike Hamilton on Wednesday, asking to wear an all-black uniform. A local Knoxville company quickly produced the black jerseys with orange numbers. Black pants couldn’t be completed in time, so the Vols opted for orange bottoms"

I don't care whether you liked them or not, but the atmosphere was kind of so, so until they came out. People went nuts. It was a great feeling to see Neyland that alive.

I looked up at the Voltron and saw Eric Berry standing in the tunnel....then the captains ran out on to the field.

I didn't care one way or another whether or not they wore them....but I gotta say, I thought they looked dang good! And it made me happy and excited to see them. Not exactly sure why, but it did.

I saw the coaches in pre-game warn ups(except Kiffin) in black so i was saying to my girl i know they will change and come out in black. When the band started forming i saw some black and said Bingo black uni's then the place went nuts. I have not cheered like that since 2004. Not because i am not a big fan anymore it was just like the program had settle for being average.

I am a traditionalist and was hoping and expecting to see Orange and White on Saturday Night. When the Captains hit the field in those black jersey's, I was won over immediately. They looked great! The atmosphere was awesome! Vols Win!

Go Big Orange!

I truly wish i could have made the drive up, with all the talk about the excitement, the black jersey and the great halftime show.To top it off, the outcome of the game!!! Well worth the nine hour drive.

i agree, JB.

i was against the black jerseys, and from what i had heard did not think that it was going to happen.

when i saw the first player visible in the tunnel wearing black, and then heard the crowd response, my opinion changed. it was like it sent a jolt of electricity through the crowd and the players looked more fired up than usual.

it was a great move.
