Here's what I know right now, my left foot hurts, I am about to order some Barro's pizza (and probably some wings too), and that Tennessee football sucks.

Here is what I know. Butch is still our coach. We are one of the worst teams in the country and I am part of the delusional fans that think Gruden will come.

Really?? So how do we know this? Doug Mathews on 104.5 in Nashville this AM spoke for about 5 minutes warning about Tennessee sliding to a has been program level just like Nebraska has...and for the same bad decision reasons. There was an attitude in the leadership both in and above the football office at one time that got the job done. Tennessee is still on the great all time football list, although few players alive today are old enough to have seen or remember it.

Are the people (including admins) in place to make moves to turn this around? A top program would bring much return to the university I'm saying. The best stadium in the world won't help (millions proposed for Neyland upgrades again) if Tennessee is allowed to slide to MAC status.

Help!!!!! Please!!!!

  • Illinois felt the same way about Lovie Smith
  • Michigan feels the same way about John Harbaugh - however, they are starting to get more any more unhappy by his results in against MSU and OSU (1-4)

Why do you put so much faith in a guy who hasn't coach in 10 years and has not been in college coaching in 30 years?

Yeah because probably only UT fans are obsessed with who our coach will be we bet on our dream. Therefore moving line. I bet it 10 of us bet on the same person the odds would change tremendously. I might bet on Inspector Gadget, Optimus Prime or Bart Simpson. Maybe a cult following would get one of their odds 100-1 or better.:good!:

2 things separates Gruden from them. He is a QB guru. If you get great QBs receivers follow and with a great QB you can be in any game. Secondly flashing a Super Bowl ring helps recruiting.

It better pour in for the $ he is wanting to spend on Neyland renovations alone. The artist rending looks cool, but it is going to take a lot of work and $. Going 0-5 in the SEC 9 games into the season is not going to bring in $ to get it done.

When butch took over-the program was in a dumpster fire!! He has us moving in the right direction, he's been building the program back-brick by brick. We would be undefeated this year if not for injuries, butch is a great family man-and a super-duper nice guy, give him a chance, we'll be back on top, if not next year in a couple more......
