Too hot and humid in the summer in Florida IMO. Unless you live along the coast.
They are 2 hours away.
Plus no seasonal color change in foliage either.
The seasons kind of look the same.

Maybe the coaches need to put somebody in that role that is experienced at doing what he is asked to do - block. Probst is a LB. Try a fullback. Seems they are kind of used to picking up the first man through the line. Just a thought (Duh).

No excuse to miss the block. No excuse for the officials to miss the calls either. They are the ones trained and paid to do it. No surprise at all that UF would cheat.

Seasons are overrated.

There's much to be said for seeing gals in short shorts and sundresses 8 months out of the year.

You're fans were great, by far the nicest opposing fans I've been around. Of course there was a little hazing after the game but that's part of it. There wasn't any profanity or anything like that. Just a few gator chomps.

Every time there has been a home game and the Florida fans have visited, I've always had good interactions. The visiting Florida fans have probably been the nicest, followed by LSU's.

Says the guy living in the butt hole of America. I'm living in Florida right now. I would literally saw off my arm to be able to move back to East Tennessee. This place is for the birds.

Lol, true. However, other than being further inland and having less Cubans, how much different is Gainesville from South Florida? I'm just assuming that the two places are fairly similar.

glad people didn't go crazy with this.

a punt block is the same principle as blitz or a running play for that matter.

defensive lineman often "block" to open a hole for the blitzing linebacker. heck, defensive lineman do this sort of thing on a simple stunt. one lineman blocks and potentially takes out two offensive lineman, while the other lineman loops around free.

nothing new or sinister about this. if you ask me, joker knows that non-conference schedule is over and beat downs are coming.

While this happens all the time on punt blocks, there is a difference between "blocking" and "holding." If you need reference for holding, just watch the Florida DBs.
