Pretty brilliant if you ask me. Too bad we were on the receiving end of it though.

we could have changed coverage when we saw FL lined up for the block.... or we can just complain they cheat afterwards. :loco:

As others stated, that punt was blocked by a missed assignment. It's that simple. Saying that they cheated to block it is a poor and sad excuse.

When I saw Demps, Rainey and Solomon Patton on the line against UT's punt formation, and Frankie Hammond was deep, I expected Dooley to call time out.

Ray Charles could have seen we were going for the block.

seeing as that is a UK post with a quote from their head coach, I don't see how it is UT complaining.

I wish we put that effort into our punt block team. Its not really that complicated. That is what Florida has been doing for years. It blows my mind that Tennessee has continuously neglected special teams play. A big play on special teams can often swing the momentum of the game. I think our special teams has improved some with Eric Russell but there is still a long way to go.

On that individual play, we could have avoided it being blocked if John Propst had blocked Rainey. As the personal protector, his job is to block any player who breaks through the line. He is the last line of defense and he let Rainey run right by him, untouched.

We didn't need a timeout. Everything would have been fine if Propst had executed his assignment.

How is what they are doing cheating in that formation? Looks like good coaching to me. Credit Urban for that not Muschamp.

I expected the one guy that didn't block anybody to maybe stick his arm out a little. Oh well.
