I think Pearl got on 'em and they responded last night.

The subs ran it down sorta though.

27-37 (i think) including 1-4 by Wild and that Moaholland(sp?).

Tom would have been automatic, he doesn't miss. :eek:lol: Seriously though, I was proud that Chism was able to knock them down last night, it should give him a little confidence

Since SEC play has started he's only had 2 really bad FT games. I think he started practicing them, then started making them in games and stopped practicing them. Then he started to mess up again... and then Bruce made him (and the rest of the team) practice... and he's back to making them. Amazing how that works.

I saw that title and thought Nebraska must have fired their basketball coach or something! LOL

A lot of FT shooting is just mental. The fact those guys knocked them down last night should help. I wouldn't be surprised if our game with Tiger High came down to whose brick masons knock them down the best.

Hopefully Memphis still is shooting poorly by the time we play them. How loud do they get at the FedEx forum
(mem. arena) ?

I speak from experience, it gets loud. And it's going to be even louder when we visit. But don't worry, Memphis will shoot between 50-55% from the free throw line.

It's all the other things they do exceptionally well that concerns me.

Memphis can thank the refs in the Houston game for getting 32 FT attempts to Houston's 2. +17 margin just from FT's made, they won by 9.

If it comes down to FT's, I think UT has the edge.

In front of CRAZY Memphis fans we won't shoot that good.

Have you forgotten our FT shooting all year ? 1 game doesn't mean jack.
