Thanks for the thread Volly. It increased my faith in the program's direction and helped me identify some more posters for my ignore list.

Butch and the players did an unbelievable gracious thing. Those parents and their families are on our hearts and minds. Prayers that the grace of God engulfs their entire being.

Great job for those guys to take time out of their holiday schedules to help try to lift spirits in such a horrifying situation.

Great gesture. Perspective. Butch should realize he is paid $4 mil to coach. There could be worse outcomes than unhappy fans. And fans, there are worse things than not winning the east.

People get so sensitive about words. Then Tennessee fans make fun of their team more than Bama and Florida teams make fun of us.

Butch sets these guys up with the foundation and blueprint on how to succeed.

Focus on what you can control.
If you make a mistake, learn from it.
Make the most out of what you have.
Take care of your friends and family

Tennessee did everything they needed to do after the SC game. They righted the ship. Florida also did what they had to. It happened.

I for one think Butch should teach corporate executives public relations. He defends his players. He keeps his cards close. And he gets his message out regardless of the question.

Champions of life was a mistake. But they can take what they've been through in 4 years and apply it to life and find great success because it's doing things the right way.

These pics exemplify that. Cheers.

"Champions of Life" is not a mistake. Small minded people are offended. There is a big picture.

A fan can live or die by what "Booger" says or they can live or die by the culture the young men on our football team have bought into.

Everybody knows the expectation is championships on the football field but not so many give a rip about the guys when they are off the field as long as it doesn't impact their PT.

Go Vols!

Beat Vandy!

They didn't have to take the time out of their busy schedule to do this but they did. This shows the type of men they are - compassionate, caring and aware of what is happening outside of football.

Actions speak louder than words said. I'm proud to be a supporter of Team 120. And I hope those they visited find strength to get through the pain and heart break they are facing.

Made my day to see these pictures. I was in awe of football players as a kid. These kids will be scarred by this and it's great to have something to take their mind off the horror they have lived through. God Bless 'em.

Seriously after seeing this and thinking about those families does anyone REAL care about football? A few media idiots and some slobbering followers made a mountain out of NOTHING!!!! And by the way, these players ARE "champions in life" unlike a lot of losers here.

God please shower your love and grace on these precious children and the families who lost children during this tragedy.

If I was Garry Parrish's boss I'd fire him tomorrow and give you his job. When can you start? Great post!

Very well said. A little perspective is always needed and welcome.
