Here’s the thing not many people probably want to hear

With this loss . . . And Bama / UF / Mississippi State on the road and Oklahoma / Arkansas at home . . . And even Vandy looks improved, where do we end up?

8-4 I think.

We’re a pretty damn good football team.

Georgia is a damn good team probably a top five team in the country. They have one of the best coaches in the country if not the best coach right now. Despise all the complaints from fans the scheme was good enough to win, our execution just wasn’t. We’re going to get healthy and be a thorn in the ass for anyone else we play this year.

We are a good football team but Georgia isn’t a playoff team. Thats why this will be a hard to stomach game down the road. Wait and see.

Anytime I want to get sad about it, I think of how bad we looked against UGA with Nico at the helm.

JA, with a short spring, vaulted himself into the starting role and is a dang good QB 3 games in .

The good far outweigh the bad.

Also Caleb Herring is HIM

If we can put 38 on this UGA defense we’re putting up 40+ on all the teams you just said. Who can out score us?

Okay. I would be interested to hear who you think is better in conference than them.

Ah, the good old post of, but we did good. That’s crap. I’m over that. We had so many opportunities to shut it down, and did not.

I’m not saying Josh isn’t the guy, he is. But stop the good loss talk.

If lsu loses its a pretty good argument theyre the #2 team in the conference. I feel better about a playoff birth than I did before the game.

The champions of life world title has been retired.

Please don’t try to bring it back
The games dont mean the same anymore. Just win 10 games. Also, these are things you have to say to be able to think they could win a rematch in December.

The problem is this. Losing a game like this can do one of 2 things.

1. Light a fire under your team/coaching staff.

2. Suck the wind out of a team and cause them to lose confidence.

It’s up to Heupel to ensure this loss wasn’t for nothing.
Those guys got a taste of what they can be tonight if they stick together, so I believe they’ll use it to get better.

If we had McCoy, Moi, and Hobbs we win that game.
Don’t forget Gibson. UGA won that game bc they had more experienced guys at the WR position. We started a true freshman against UGA. And he got torched. If we have McCoy or Gibson that’s a different game. If we have Moi and Hobbs we don’t gassed so early when they have that long drive to start the half. We’re better than them . I’d love to see them when we’re not at such a matchup disadvantage. Kudos to them for exploiting it, but we will beat them if we play them again .

Absolutely brutal loss, but there are no more moral victories at this point. This wasn't some David vs. Goliath deal, we are essentially on the same level as the Georgia's, Alabama's, etc., and it's time to show it on the field.

I think we did that today, but IMO Josh lost the game by not trusting his offense to run one more play, call time out, and send Max out there in rhythm. Yardage wasn't the issue, we were well within his range, but Josh delayed, then sent him out there. Yeah, Max missed the kick, but the coaches' job in that spot is to get the ball where the kicker wants it and keep him in rhythm. Josh failed on both counts.

There is nothing even remotely indicating this takes the "wind" out of a team

Herring was better today than JP jr was at any point last season.
