Herbie isnt a bad guy. OSU fans hate him so much that him coming out on Schiano was just throwing them a bone. As soon as the Buckeyes got "Sandusky'ed" by the Boilermakers, opinion up here in Columbus shifted to "maybe the Vols we're onto something."

I think he praises CJP and staff because he recognizes the good job they're doing as well as recognizing some of the talent we put on the field.
