Herbstreit coming after us

Herbie is biased toward Ohio State where Schiano is currently coaching. Not interested in his opinion on who Tennessee should hire to be the head football coach.

eff him, he' always was an OSU homer, is one, and will forever be one. Let him and his alma mater keep cutting paychecks to the guy, not UT.

who cares what he thinks? if he supports a guy who's connected to the Penn State coverup, that says more about him than us or anyone else.

Fans got behind Lane, they got behind Dooley, they got behind Butch. They're tired of Kmart hires.. So what Schiano has NFL experience he was 500 at Rutgers.. Reeks of desperation..

Backlash of the backlash. I don't think anyone was expecting this to create such a strong rift of emotion. The campus is in an uproar. We have state reps on twitter condemning it. The freaking White House Press Secretary even weighed in on it.

This is an ugly, ugly situation. I'm sure Herby is just going to bat for his buddy, but methinks he is probably tone deaf as to why there is such a backlash in the first place. Dude is on twitter talking about records when it is much, much bigger than football.

be careful Herbie...security guards have already been called to the athletic center in protest of GS possible hire...you need to keep your OSU nose out of our business and tend to your own...this isn't ESPN and your opinion is meaningless...:)
