When discussing the Tennessee job, said " It was a rough week for the vols last week, planes here and there and rejections and offers flying daily, have you noticed it has been quiet since Phil took over? From what I hear he is doing a great job and watch out for some names not on being talked about, Phil is providing a stability that is appealing to lots of coaches, lots of coaches want to coach for old coaches like him" , Dan then tried to move on and ask about Baker Mayfield and Herby went back to TN and said one more thing...."TN is a great job, that Power T travels anywhere it wants to, it carries weight in TX and Cali, and for those saying it is not a top 10 job, neither was Bama prior to Saban, but if you get that thing rolling again watch out, nad I believe the Fulmer is the man to make this hire and get it rolling again, itll be interesting to have this discussion in 2-4 years. Everyone knows it is a cycle and the VOLS are due."

It was very surprising and positive from him, wonder if he is having guilt for calling folks out during the ShiaNO thing....ha

Herbie is trying to win us back after ESPN decided to crap all over our fanbase only to watch them have hundreds and hundreds of layoffs because OUR media market (a TOP 10 in the USA) quit watching.

Piss off #VolTwitter, suffer the consequences ESPN.

So, he needs to make friends again? Kirk was always cool with the Vols, and then something about Schiano set him off. This is basically an apology. Cool.

This is nonsense. ESPN is one of Disney's most profitable properties. Layoffs are the consequence of other failing business units.

Wake up Vol nation. Sun doesn't rise and set on the Smokey mountains.

Guilt from getting straight up manipulated by John Currie. A lot of people in the media are seeing what's actually going on behind the scenes now. You won't get an apology but you're going to see some opinions shift.

I beg to differ. Sun comes up every morning over those Mountains, and for me, every evening it sets over those Mountains.
