Henry T officially gone

Team hopping is a national and societal phenomenon that has really taken off in the last 5-10 years. Another poster alluded to this as well - if you face any adversity, just run away to a safer place rather than stay and fight. That is the new mentality in sports and it goes for every team sport at all levels now. My son plays 13U travel baseball and we had a kid on our team who quit at 6:30 pm the Friday night before our season opener to go play for the very team we were facing the next day. And what really boggles the mind is that this kid’s parents let him do it, in fact, they were most likely the drivers behind the decision.
That's horrible..

Bet his daddy got a good job in Tuscaloosa, paying about six times the normal going rate.

LOL, sounds good but he has to start at least 3 games in a row. He has to earn the starting position and not just get the start because the real starter was injured for a game or two.
You've abandoned your original position of
"he is not ever going to start at Bama", so I think that's as far as it needed to go. :)

Interesting.
I actually find it very Uninteresting. Kid’s Dad wants money. Pruitt outbids Saban simply because he wants/needs him more. Pruitt is fired. Kid goes to Bama where he wanted to go in the first place. Now that I write it, it might be the most boring story ever heard.

And it goes on at the highest levels. Even among professional players and some with enormous social impact. Hello LeBRon James! The quintessential championship humper. Kids learn from their idols.
