Henry T officially gone

Wherever Henry T is lined up run right at his weak tackling arse. He is instinctive, but he is a weak tackler. Go at him. GBO!!!!!

Like it or not college football is a business for the players coaches and schools. Henry made a business decision. All we have to do is look at the last NFL draft. He wants to play on Sunday’s and he thinks his best shot is at another school. Blame the leadership at UT for the past and present mess in the athletic dept.

This mindset has been adopted by UT coaches and administration and is a big reason why our teams full of talented players look worse than a UCF or a Boise St or a BYU or a Wisconsin. All those teams have had less talent than us but played at a higher level. They recruit players who want to be at their school and play for their team. They don’t focus on kids who are just looking for a stepping stone to the NFL. Sure some from those school will end up there, but I would bet every recruit that signs with them has the same #1 goal, win for their school.

We only hate it when they leave. We're cool with Cade Mayes and others bailing on their original commitments
"We" the VolNation. I'm not in a twist about it. Bama beats us by 30 with or without him. We win 5 games with or without him. I think it's silly to label him a traitor and then welcome incoming transfers doing the same thing.

If a high school kid is rated a 4 or 5 star out of high school he thinks he has a shot at the NFL but the truth is only a handful get to play at the next level. I don’t blame Henry for running away to our #1 rival , but I wished we were good enough to hang on to him. Remember we did get a great running back from Bama a couple years ago. Amazing how quick things turn.

To'oto'o deserves what he is getting here but it just helps cement that Jeremy Pruitt was the worst coach for the Vols since Battle in my mind.

That Alabama p***k turned the Vol program into a completely toxic mess with an assist from Fulmer.

It was a toxic mess way before Pruitt got to Knoxville. You are correct with Fulmer, but take it back to the end of his coaching tenure. That's when the toxic mess started.

To me, part of this particular equation, and why I have exactly zero respect for the kid and hope he goes undrafted, is the fact he is rumored to have been one of the kids here that was getting paid. I don't have a lot of respect for kids that go that route anyway; I understand coming from a poor background, etc. etc.; I didn't come from money, not by a long shot. But if you're good enough, why not just come in and take care of your business for three or four years, and then make your money legitimately? Even later-round draft picks make more money in one year than they ever could have been paid in college under the table; and the high draft picks are set for life the minute they sign that first contract.

To me it's just pretty pathetic for a kid to be working the system and cheating in the first place, and then bail when his own actions help bring about major problems for the program that paid him.

He's a young man who is doing what he thinks is best for him and his family. Thanks for being a part of the Tennessee family, Henry T. I'm sorry the coaching staff let you and others down so significantly. Best of luck to you.
