I won't hold it against him at all if the NFL comes calling, but I hope he hangs around for next year. He has clearly taken the reigns and is the guy going forward.

HH has one more year after this one. Could be a special season next year with him having two years in this offense.

If it says super senior then they are done at the end of the year if not he has another year.

Like Dobbs, Hooker doesn't seem able to make those NFL level throws, so I doubt he's gonna get a ton of interest. Hooker is a great college QB and that's perfectly fine.

I would say you're correct, but there's a guy at ETSU in his 8th year of college football. I've read the article twice and still can't figure how they get there. So who knows?

Ummm, I don’t think Burrow, Fields, and the others were playing in year 2000. Or are you trying to just cherry pick a year? You made a blanket statement that is horrendously wrong.

I think he's saying 2000 students transferred in 2021, not year 2000

in the 2021 transfer portal there were over 2,000 players that transferred. The vast majority are unhelpful to their new teams including the 600 who were not even signed to another team. Again, majority of transfers will not be helpful to new teams they sign with.

Either way it doesn't matter you're focusing on the wrong thing. I was simply stating what he is. He's playing so most people can easily forget the special rule that was made.
Edit: As Butchna just posted, we look at what sports sites say, and I'm thinking he's been listed as that on the TV stations that highlight him.

Just look at Hooker as a RS JR. That's what he was last year and it was a free year.
